Medical Disclaimer

Important: The information on this website is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. Do not use this Site for medical emergencies — call 911 immediately.

TauntonCannabis.Clinic is not a medical provider. All clinical services are provided solely by independent Massachusetts-licensed Certifying Healthcare Providers responsible for their own professional conduct and compliance with M.G.L. c. 94I and applicable Cannabis Control Commission regulations.

Medical cannabis may not be appropriate for all individuals. An evaluation by a Massachusetts Certifying Healthcare Provider is required to determine whether your condition qualifies. Discuss all risks with your physician before beginning any new treatment. Any general information about symptoms or conditions on this Site reflects topics patients commonly raise with a physician — it is not a diagnosis, and it is not a substitute for your own evaluation.

Cannabis remains a Schedule I controlled substance under federal law regardless of Massachusetts state authorization. Use may affect federal employment, housing assistance, firearms ownership, immigration status, and military service. Health insurance does not cover medical cannabis costs. A provider certification alone does not authorize a purchase — registration with the Cannabis Control Commission's Medical Use of Marijuana Program is required. For current program details visit the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission.

How This Site Is Funded

TauntonCannabis.Clinic is an information and marketing website. We may receive compensation from Massachusetts-licensed Certifying Healthcare Providers and telehealth booking services for advertising and marketing services. Such compensation is not based on the provision of medical services, patient outcomes, or certification decisions.

Nothing on this Site should be construed as a direction, recommendation, or endorsement of any particular physician or telehealth service.

A Note on Federal Law

By using this Site, you acknowledge that TauntonCannabis.Clinic is designed for individuals eligible under Massachusetts's Medical Use of Marijuana Program, established by M.G.L. c. 94I and 935 CMR 501. Cannabis is a Schedule I substance under the United States Controlled Substances Act. Transporting cannabis across state lines constitutes a federal offense.

Terms of Use

Welcome to TauntonCannabis.Clinic (the “Site,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using this Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use this Site.

1. About This Site — Information & Marketing Platform Only

TauntonCannabis.Clinic is an information and marketing website. We provide general information about Massachusetts's Medical Use of Marijuana Program under M.G.L. c. 94I and 935 CMR 501 and facilitate access to third-party telehealth booking services. This Site does not provide medical services, issue certifications, submit state registration applications, render clinical advice, or participate in any clinical decision-making.

We are not a medical practice, pharmacy, dispensary, or healthcare provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, or any government agency.

All appointment scheduling services are facilitated through Acuity Scheduling, an independent third-party booking platform. All clinical services are provided solely by independent Massachusetts-licensed Certifying Healthcare Providers who are not employees, agents, or representatives of this Site.

2. Independent Massachusetts Certifying Providers

When you book an appointment through this Site, you are scheduling with an independent, third-party Certifying Healthcare Provider — a Massachusetts-licensed physician, certified nurse practitioner, or physician assistant registered with the Cannabis Control Commission as a Certifying Healthcare Provider. These providers are solely responsible for:

  • Evaluating your medical situation and determining, in their professional judgment, whether you have a debilitating medical condition under Massachusetts law
  • Conducting the telehealth evaluation as a genuine medical encounter, in accordance with applicable Massachusetts telehealth standards and Cannabis Control Commission rules
  • Making all clinical decisions
  • Issuing or declining to issue a certification in their sole professional discretion
  • Compliance with all applicable Massachusetts laws and Cannabis Control Commission regulations

We do not supervise, direct, credential, control, or employ any physician. No provider–patient relationship exists between you and TauntonCannabis.Clinic.

3. No Guarantee of Outcomes

We do not guarantee that a physician will issue a recommendation, that a state registration application will be approved, that an appointment will be available at a particular time or price, or any specific outcome. Certification decisions are made solely by the independent provider, and registration decisions are made solely by the Cannabis Control Commission.

4. Eligibility

Use of this Site is intended for adults who are 18 years of age or older, or the parent/legal guardian of a qualifying minor patient. Massachusetts residency is required to register as a patient in the Medical Use of Marijuana Program. Consult the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission for current eligibility rules.

5. Booking, Payments & Refunds

Appointment booking is facilitated through Acuity Scheduling. Payment may be made by major credit card at the time of booking. Refund eligibility is governed by the policy disclosed at booking and/or the independent physician's posted policy.

The Cannabis Control Commission does not currently charge a patient registration fee. Any state fee, such as the $10 replacement card fee, is paid directly to the Commission through its Online System — not to this Site. The telehealth consultation fee paid at booking is the only fee collected by this platform.

6. Accuracy of Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep information on this Site up to date. Always verify program details at the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission.

7. Prohibited Use

You may not use this Site for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with Site security or functionality, to submit false or misleading information, or to harm others.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TAUNTONCANNABIS.CLINIC AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THIS SITE, YOUR INTERACTIONS WITH ANY PHYSICIAN OR THIRD-PARTY PLATFORM, OR ANY CLINICAL OUTCOME. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO TAUNTONCANNABIS.CLINIC, IF ANY, IN THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TauntonCannabis.Clinic and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of this Site, your violation of these Terms, or your alleged violation of any law or third-party rights.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THIS SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Dispute Resolution; Arbitration; Class Action Waiver

Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights.

Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for 30 days. Unresolved disputes shall be settled through final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA). Class actions, class arbitrations, and representative proceedings are not permitted. You waive the right to a jury trial.

Jurisdiction and Venue: Exclusive jurisdiction and venue of any actions arising out of, or relating to or in any way connected with your access and/or use of this Site shall be in Bexar County, Texas if in state court, and in the Western District of Texas in San Antonio, Texas if in federal court.
