After your visit: if a Massachusetts Certifying Healthcare Provider certifies a debilitating condition, you'll register free with the Cannabis Control Commission using a government ID, proof of Massachusetts residency, and a photo, and your Program ID card will be mailed. If someone will help you, they can register separately as your personal caregiver — they must be 21 or older. Patients under 18 need certification from two providers and a parent or guardian's consent.
